Etymology. The specific name is a patronym in honour of our colleague Zhi-Sheng Zhang (Chongqing, China), a well known expert in taxonomy of Lycosidae and other spider families.

Diagnosis. The new species differs from congeners by the shape of copulatory organs. Males of D. zhishengi sp. n. have triangular anterior arm of tegular apophysis ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 13 – 21 , claw-like in other species) and straight embolus ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 22 – 30 , bent in other congeners). Females differ from the congeners by the wide septal stem, wider than posterior part of septum ( Fig. 52 View FIGURES 52 – 66 , stem much thinner than the base of septum in congeners).

Description. Male (holotype). Total length 8.1. Carapace: 4.0 long, 3.3 wide. Colouration ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ): carapace black with elongated yellow spot around the fovea. Clypeus yellow, with black stripe on its lower edge. Chelicerae black with yellow stripes. Sternum and labium black. Endites brown-gray with yellow spot on the inner side. Palps: Fe and Pt—black with yellow spots, Ti and cymbium black. Legs bright-yellow with black rings. Abdomen black with indistinct pattern formed by gray hairs. Leg I joints: 3.75+1.65+3.5+3.9+1.7. Spination of leg I: Fe: d1-1-1 p0- 1-2 r2-0-1; Pt: d1-1 r1-0; Ti: d1-0-1 p2-0-0 r1-0-0 pv4 rv5; Mt: p1-1-0 r1-1-0 v2-2 -0.

Palp as in Figs 13–15 View FIGURES 13 – 21 , 22–24 View FIGURES 22 – 30 , 31–34 View FIGURES 31 – 42 , 43–45 View FIGURES 43 – 51 . Tegular apophysis with almost triangular anterior arm (Aa) ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 13 – 21 ); paleal processes triangular, posterior process (Pp) not subdivided in 2 parts ( Fig. 43 View FIGURES 43 – 51 ); conductor (Co) sharply pointed ( Fig. 45 View FIGURES 43 – 51 ); terminal apophysis (Ta) with triangular (spine-like) anterior (dorsal) outgrowth, posterior outgrowth larger, rounded on the tip ( Fig. 45 View FIGURES 43 – 51 ); embolus straight ( Fig. 43 View FIGURES 43 – 51 ).

Female. Total length 10.4. Carapace: 4.7 long, 3.9 wide. Colouration ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ): carapace black with elongated yellow spot around the fovea and yellow stripes near edges. Clypeus, sternum, labium and endites like in male. Chelicerae yellow basally and dark-brown apically. Legs and palps black with yellow rings. Abdomen black with indistinct pattern formed by golden hairs dorsally, yellowish-gray ventrally. Leg I joints: 4.35+2.0+3.95+3.85+1.75. Spination of leg I: Fe: d1-1-1 p0-1-2 r0-1-1; Pt: d1-1 r1-0; Ti: d1-0-1 p1-0-0 r1-0-0 pv4 rv5; Mt: p0-1-0 r0-1-0 v2-2 -0.

Epigyne as in Figs 52–56 View FIGURES 52 – 66 , 67–68 View FIGURES 67 – 74 . Stem of septum wider than posterior 1/3 of septum, stem with two ridges; septal pockets located almost in middle part of septum, pockets separated by 2/3 of pocket width. Head of receptacles directed anteriorly, not converging.

Size variation. Males vary from 7.9 to 8.9 in body length, carapace 4.0–4.3 long and 3.1–3.45 wide (n=5). Females vary from 10.2 to 10.4 in body length, carapace 4.4–4.7 long and 3.65–3.9 wide (n=2). Distribution. Type locality only ( Figs 79–80 View FIGURES 75 – 80 ).
