Filaments solitary, wavy or straight, blue-green or pale blue green in color. Sheaths thin, firm, colorless. Trichomes slightly constricted at cross-walls or not. Cells isodiametric or longer than wide or sometimes shorter than wide, 2.4-4.0 μm long, 3.1-4.0 μm wide. Apical cells conical, elongated up to 7 μm. Hormogonia are formed by necridic cells.
Ecology. This species was isolated on the soil around thermal springs (50℃) with high radiation background ( Heidari et al., 2018), and in this study from gravel submerged in freshwater.
Distribution. Mahallat, Markazi, Iran ( Heidari et al., 2018). Site of collection. Sites 4, 5.
