Etymology. Patronymic, after Dr Petr Baňař, the collector
Diagnosis. The deep fossae in the mesoventrum coupled with the abdominal characteristics of the male will distinguish this species.
Type material. Holotype: ♂, GPS 27, BOL / Nov 2013/06, BOLIVIA, 24.xi.2013, COCHABAMBA dep. Cristal Mayu River valley, ca 20k W of Villa Tunari, sifting litter, ca 720m, Winkler app. extr., P. Baňař lgt.. ( UASC). Paratypes: ♂, ♀, same data as holotype ( MMBC, BMNH)
