Remarks.

This species was redescribed by Matsumura et al. (2011) who presumed Cirsium japonicum DC and Lema suffultum Matsum. ( Asteraceae ) to be its host plants. Here Cirsium japonicum ( Figs 47-48 View Figures 43–48 ) is confirmed as a host plant by field observations and laboratory rearing.
