Fonseca leg, 2 specimens ( NHMC); before Mayarí, 20.III.2001, M. Aldana & L. Fonseca leg., 1 specimen ( NHMC) ( Aldana and Fonseca 2001). Habitat: very common species, found in ponds, lakes, and muddy rivers up to 200 m above the sea-level.
