Distribution. Sri Lanka ( Chamberlin 1949).
Remarks. Not found in the present study. According to Chamberlin (1949), the type locality of Telechelifer lophonotus is doubtful. The specimen, collected by E.E. Green, might have come from either India or Sri Lanka. We sampled several locations in the Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts, including Punduloya and Peradeniya, localities where E.E. Green was known to have lived. However, we failed to find any pseudoscorpions that fit the description of T. lophonotus .
