Material examined. CHINA: Liaoning Province, Dandong City , Kuandian County, 2 males, 22.iv.1992, sweep net, J. Wang ; Jilin Province, Changbaishan Natural Reserve Area, Erdao River , 1 male, 29.iv.1994, sweep net, X. Wang .
Diagnostic characters. The species can be separated from other members of the subgenus by having AR 1.30–1.90, vein Cu 1 nearly straight, costal extension absent, virga consisting of 6 spines, and gonostylus with concave inner margin.
Remarks. The species has been described in detail by Sasa (1979) and Sasa & Suzuki (1999). Specimens from China are in accordance with the original description.
