We collected Lipiniella larvae from the Usuktuk River in the southern Arctic Coastal Plain and the Okpiksak River and two other small streams east of Atqasuk. We also collected larval specimens from a Yukon River delta distributary. These are the first faunistic records for the USA. Lipiniella larvae are found in sandy sediments of lentic habitats in rivers and brackish water ( Epler et al. 2013).
