Records. First record was in October 12, 2013, camera trap 3 (25°03.59ʹ S, 049°57.26ʹ W) and subsequently in the monitoring sites (camera traps 1, 2, see Fig. 1 for coordinates).
Identification. Cerdocyon thous was identified by its small size, and short, dense coat with a gray to brown hue.
