Records. First record was in August 06, 2013, camera trap 3 (25°03.59ʹ S, 049°57.26ʹ W) and subsequently in the monitoring sites (camera traps 1, 2, 9 and 11, see Fig. 1 for coordinates).

Identification. Didelphis aurita has black hairless ears; variable head color, ranging from black to yellow. Black spots on the eyes and dark coloration on the dorsal region.
