A Longfin yellowtail, Carangidae ( Fig. 2M View Figure 2 ), was collected on 12 July 2017 by the fishing master Mr Rémy Descamps on the coastal gillnetter Atalante from Arcachon. It was collected in a trammel net used for Common sole off south Lacanau (Bay of Biscay, Aquitaine, France), at about
44.9°N, – 1.5°W, at about 50 m depth. The fresh specimen measured about 30 cm TL. Recorded by LM. The present specimen is a new record for the Bay of Biscay where the species is uncommonly recorded ( Quéro et al., 2007a) .
