A Silvery John Dory, Zeidae ( Fig. 2I View Figure 2 ), was collected on 10 October 2017 by the fishing master Mr Frederik Louedec on the coastal bottom trawler P’tit Emile from Concarneau. It was collected at 47.6378°N, – 4.2362°W, at 95 m depth, off the Archipelago îles de Glénan ( Southern Brittany, Bay of Biscay , France). The fresh specimen measured 245 mm TL, 233 mm FL, 205 mm SL, and the head was 75 mm long. The eviscerated weight was 162.9 g. Tissue sample was preserved under No. BPS-3971. Recorded by SPI. The present specimen is a new record for the Bay of Biscay and Europe- an Atlantic waters where the species is uncommonly record- ed but where a northern migration was evidenced by Quéro et al. (1998) in the last decades GoogleMaps .
