Type genus: Phtora Mulsant, 1854 [as Phthora , incorrect subsequent spelling of type genus name, not in prevailing usage; Phtora is a junior homonym of Phtora Germar, 1836 [ Coleoptera : Tenebrionidae : Diaperinae ]; syn. of Clamoris Gozis, 1886]. Comment: permanently invalid (Art. 39): based on preoccupied type genus.
