Necroscia Audinet-Serville, 1838: 250 . Type-species. Necroscia roseipennis Audinet-Serville, 1838: 250 , by subsequent designation of Kirby, 1904: 436.

Notes. Four species are recognised from Hainan . Necroscia multicolor ( Redtenbacher, 1908) and N. shukayi ( Bi, Zhang & Lau, 2001) are new records for Hainan .
