Body yellowish or orange-yellowish, face light yellowish. Head with two orange kidney-shaped patches at transition to face. Eyes blackish. Scutellum beige or orange with basal triangles blackish. Fore wing yellowish. Veins beige.

Male genitalia: Pygofer with about 2 macrosetae at cephalo-ventral angle of lobe ( Fig. 14b View FIGURE 14 ), apex of dorsal appendage slightly bifurcated, upper tooth blunt ( Fig. 14c View FIGURE 14 ). Apex of style slender, expanded subapically ( Fig. 14e View FIGURE 14 ). Aedeagal shaft with pair of long apical processes; preatrial process thin and short, far from reaching gonopore; gonopore subapical ( Figs 14g, h View FIGURE 14 ).

Measurement: Male 3.67mm.

Material examined: Holotype : ♂ [ NWAFU], CHINA: Shaanxi Prov., Qingling, Mt. Tiantai , 1600m, 4.viii.1999, light trap, coll. I. Dworakowska. Paratypes : 2♂♂ [ NWAFU], 1900m, 3.ix.1999, same locality and collector as holotype .

Remarks: This new species is similar to A. sufflata sp. nov. but apex of style is narrower, preatrial process is shorter and thinner, and gonopore shifts towards apex.

Etymology: This new species is named after its type locality “Qinling”.
