External characteristics resemble that of A. falcata sp. nov.
Male genitalia: Pygofer with single macroseta at cephalo-ventral angle of lobe ( Fig. 19a View FIGURE 19 ), apex of dorsal appendage bifurcated, upper tooth directed inwards and lower one directed ventro-caudad ( Figs 19b, c View FIGURE 19 ). Style with apex foot-like ( Figs 19e, f View FIGURE 19 ). Aedeagal shaft slim and long, pair of apical processes long, apex of which slightly expanded; preatrial process sinuated in lateral view, apex reaching gonopore; gonopore near middle ( Figs 19h, i View FIGURE 19 ).
Measurement: Male 3.35mm.
Material examined: Holotype: ♂ [ NWAFU], CHINA: Yunnan Prov., Lijiang City , 1800m, 13.xi.1999, coll. I. Dworakowska.
Remarks: This new species is similar to A. falcata sp. nov. but can be distinguished by the aedeagal shaft straight in lateral view, and processes extended from tip of shaft.
Etymology: The specific epithet is derived from the Latin word “ sufflatus ” referring to the apex of aedeagal shaft processes expanded in lateral view.
