Habitat.
Sandy and stony river banks and on the shore of lakes ( Werner 2000). See also Habrodera nilotica .
Phenology.
In Africa throughout most of the year ( Werner 2000).
Distribution range.
From Senegal to Sudan and Ethiopia ( Werner 2000). Probably does not occur in Egypt (see discussion in Abdel-Dayem et al. 2003).
Distribution in the southern Levant.
No record.
Taxonomic notes.
Described from Ambukol (= Ambukohl) which belongs today to Sudan ( Abdel-Dayem et al. 2003).
