Previous records in the Hauts Plateaux and coastal area. Oran ( Lucas 1846), Arzew ( Simon 1885), Saïda ( Gauthier 1934b), in a brackish site near Annaba ( Samraoui & Dumont 2002), Jemot ( Samraoui et al. 2006), near Annaba and at El Frine, El Taref ( Ghaouaci 2018).

Comments. Found in the coastal region and the Hauts Plateaux, C. tetracerus seems absent from the Algerian Sahara. This is confirmed by its distribution within neighboring Tunisia ( Marrone et al. 2016).
