Update diagnosis: Forewings M vein with four (see fig. 11 in Silva-Neto et al. 2018) to seven ( Fig. 11D View FIGURE 11 ) primary branches, forewing areola postica triangular, joined to M vein by a cross vein arising from its apex ( Figs 1B View FIGURE 1 ; 5A–B View FIGURE 5 , 11A–G View FIGURE 11 , 12A–C View FIGURE 12 ). Hindwings M with three to five primary branches ( Figs 1C View FIGURE 1 , 5C–D View FIGURE 5 , 12 View FIGURE 12 ). Hypandrium of one sclerite, with a protuberance in its anterior median region, in which the anterior ends of the side struts fit ( Figs 1D View FIGURE 1 , 7B View FIGURE 7 and see fig. 8 in Silva-Neto et al. 2018).
