FEMALE ( Figs. 1–5 View FIGURES 1 – 5 ). Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished by its pubescence. Face and tibia are with black, hypostome, vertex and first abdominal segment with pale white and pollen scopa with black pubescence.
Head: Clypeus elevated medially, punctures coarse and close; supraclypeus slightly elevated; parocular area sloping laterally below level of antennae; carina distinct; subocellar area broadly convex, median groove obscure; mandibles broad at apex, the outer tooth acute; vertex broad, flattish, produced black; the back of head roundly emarginated; lateral ocelli nearer eye and each other than to occipital margin and nearer eye than to each other; vestibule reaching up to mid coxae in repose.
Mesosoma: Scutum convex, striated, median and parapsidal lines distinct, pronotal lobes swollen but incarinate, punctures dense; scutellum broadly rounded posteriorly, nearly horizontal in profile; apex acute, median length longer than median groove but less than twice its length; first recurrent vein far from base than second which is close to apex of second submarginal cell, wing hyaline at base fuscous towards apex, veins black; forelegs coxae, trochanter simple, outer face closely punctate, anterior and posterior face smooth, apices of tarsi slightly excavated; hind legs simple and unmodified.
Metasoma: Basal tergal concavity margin incarinate, pregrandular area narrowly shining along upper margin otherwise finely and closely punctate, vertical fold linear, postgrandular area short, slightly convex medially; graduli of terga 2–5 complete and linear, punctures coarse and close becoming crowded; basal sternum slightly elevated medially; graduli of sterna 2–5 linear and subcarinate.
MALE ( Figs. 6–11 View FIGURES 6 – 11 ). Clypeus slightly convex, closely and finely punctate, apical margin notched medially, base, sides and apex of clypeus with long white pubescence; mandibles tridentate, apical tooth acute, lower surface without any process; fore coxae with short but acute spine, trochanters longer than broad, punctures close and fine on coxae.
Floral Associations: Fabaceae ( Cajanus cajan (L.), Crotalaria juncea (L.), Millettia pinnata (L.)), Verbenaceae ( Duranta erecta L.).
