Distribution: India: Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Southern
India, Uttarakhand and West Bengal. Elsewhere: Nepal, Bangladesh, Burma to China, Java, Sumatra, the Philippines and Tanimbar Islands ( Smetacek, 1994, Chandra, et al., 2014, Singh, et al., 2021).
Host Plant: Bombax ceiba , Microcos tomentosa , Helicteres isora , Kydia calycina , Sterculia villosa ( Malvaceae ), Sapindus trifoliatus , Schleichera trijuga ( Sapindaceae ) and Tectona grandis ( Lamiaceae ) (Robinson, et al., 2010).
