Distribution: India: Andaman Islands, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Odisha, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and West Bengal. Elsewhere: Oriental Region, Australian Region except New Caledonia, New Caledonia, ( Smetacek, 1994, Chandra, et al., 2014).
