Dalus leopardinus ( Haupt, 1917) View in CoL
( Figs 3a–b View FIGURES 3–7 , 16a–f View FIGURES 15–19 & 28 View FIGURES 25–40 )
Symphypyga leopardina Haupt, 1917: 242 View in CoL , fig. 5.
Dalus leopardinus: Emeljanov, 1975: 108 View in CoL .
Paramacroceps kiritshenkoi Bergevin, 1926: 32 View in CoL , figs 1–6: syn. fide Emeljanov, 1975: 108.
Material examined: Kerman Province: 3♂, 2♀, 35 km E Rafsanjan, Kaboutarkhan , 1679 m, N30º18.098′ E56º19.167 ′, 23.vi.2019, V.M. Gnezdilov & F. Mozaffarian leg. ( ZIN and HMIM) .
Notes: New record of the genus and species for Iranian fauna. The species was described based on three females from Kerki and later recorded from Repetek in Turkmenistan ( Haupt, 1917; Kusnezov, 1929). Fifty years later it was recorded from Uzbekistan ( Dubovsky, 1966) and Kazakhstan ( Mitjaev, 1971). In Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan Calligonum spp. were mentioned as its host plants ( Kaplin, 1993; Mitjaev, 2002). Apparently it is one of the largest species of Adelungiini with its total length 6–9 mm.
