Eustigmaeus najeeba (Habeeb) ( Figs. 10–12 View FIGURE 10 View FIGURE 11 View FIGURE 12 )
Ledermuelleria najeeba Habeeb, 1973: 1 .
Material examined
Type, 1 adult female and 1 damaged adult female, USA, New York, Cayuga Co., small pond east of Auburn, on Leptodictyum riparium , 6 May 1973, by H. Habeeb; cotype, 4 adult females, same data as type.
Diagnosis
Adult female. Idiosomal shield with pores in marginal area, minute punctations and faint reticulations medially; idiosomal setae tapered with pointed tips; ratios vi: vi–vi = 1.6 (1.2–1.6), ve: ve–sci = 0.9 (0.7–0.9), sci: sce = 1.0 (0.7–1.0), c1: c1–c1 = 0.3 (0.2–0.3), e1: e1–e1 = 0.2, c1–c1: d1–d1: e1–e1: f1–f1 = 0.9 (0.9–1.2): 1.5 (1.3–1.8): 1.6 (1.5–1.8): 1.0; with 2 callosities between idiosomal shield and humeral shield. Dorsalmost setae on femora I 0.6 (0.6–0.7) times lengths of h1; tarsi IV each with a solenidion ().
Description
ADULT FEMALE (n = 6)
Gnathosoma . Finely punctate. Chelicerae about twice as long as movable digits (95 (92–100): 26 (25–32)). Palp 69 (67–77). Subcapitular setae m about as long as n, m = 15 (15–17), n = 17 (16–17); m–m less than distance n–n; m–m = 25 (25–26), n–n = 30 (27– 32), m–n = 12 (12–13).
Idiosoma. Nearly round, 353 (325–365) long, 295 (251–337) wide. Dorsal idiosomal shield with pores in marginal area, minute punctations and faint reticulations in central area. Idiosomal setae tapered with pointed tips; ratios vi: vi–vi = 1.6 (1.2–1.6), ve: ve–sci = 0.9 (0.7–0.9), sci: sce = 1.0 (0.7–1.0), c1: c1–c1 = 0.3 (0.2–0.3), e1: e1–e1 = 0.2, c1–c1: d1– d1: e1–e1: f1–f1 = 0.9 (0.9–1.2): 1.5 (1.3–1.8): 1.6 (1.5–1.8): 1.0; eyes 14 (13–15) in diameter; setal lengths: vi 35 (33–37), ve 36 (35–37), sci 27 (25–30), sce 27 (27–35), c1 24 (24– 25), d 1 22 (22–25), d 2 22 (22–30), e1 33 (32–33), e 2 26 (25–27), f1 36 (36–42); distances: vi– vi 22 (22–30), vi–ve 67 (62–67), ve–sci 39 (39–50), sci–sce 49 (40–49), c1–c1 88 (87– 105), c1–d1 85 (82–90), d1–d1 143 (132–152), d1–d2 77 (60–85), d1– e 1 82 (80–90), e1–e1 147 (147–167), e1– e 2 54 (52–62), e1–f1 46 (46–50), f1–f1 94 (87–102); humeral setae c 2 26 (26–27), slightly longer than c1.
