Description. Male. Integument brown. Body with pubescence whitish. Elytra with two dark-brown spots, one in anterior region and the other postmedian and with longitudinal brown bands laterally.

Upper eye lobes well separated, distance between them equal to almost three times the width of a lobe. Antennae exceeding elytral apices at antennomere VI. Scape subequal in length to antennomere III; III–VIII subequal in length, IX–XI gradually increasing in length, XI 1.5 times the length of antennomere III. Pronotum uniformly and deeply punctate. Lateral tubercle with base and surrounding area dilated. Prosternal process 1/5 as wide as procoxal cavity. Mesosternum depressed. Mesosternal process 1/2 as wide as mesocoxal cavity.

Elytra approximately three times as long as prothorax, surface finely punctate, denser anteriorly. Humeri slightly projected anteriorly. Apices obliquely truncate, angles slightly produced.

Metatarsomere I 1.5 times as long as II–III together. Apex of urotergite V emarginate; urosternite V semicircular with angles strongly produced.

Female. Apex of urotergite V acute and gradually narrowed distally; urosternite V emarginate, exceeding the elytral apices by more than half its length.

Measurements, in mm. male/female. n= 3/4. Total length, 6.23±0.61/7.15±0.31; prothorax length, 1.27±0.15/ 1.58±0.17; prothorax width at widest point, 1.90±0.17/2.13±0.19; elytral length, 4.27±0.47/4.95±0.44; humeral width, 2.13±0.25/2.53±0.10.

Etymology. Greek, spilotos means spots, and refers to the elytra spots.

Type material. Holotype male, BRAZIL, Rondônia: Pimenta Bueno, male, X.1986, O. Roppa, P. Magno & J. Becker leg. Paratypes: same data of holotype, male, female. São Paulo: São Paulo (Cantareira), male, 7.XII.1952, H. Zellibor leg.; 2 females, 10.II.1941; 7.XII.1952, H. Zellibor leg.; (Jabaquara), female, 7.I.1953, H. Zellibor leg. ( MNRJ)

Remarks. Eucharitolus spilotus sp. nov. is similar to E. dorcadioides comb. nov. It is distinguished by having the female urosternite V exceeding the elytral apices by more than half of its length. Eucharitolus dorcadioides comb. nov. has a shorter urosternite V which does not exceed the elytral apices by more than half its length.
