Ampulex sp. 1 1 ♀

This female belongs to the group of species, which are charactericed by black head and gaster in combination with a mostly red pro- and mesosoma. They are assumed to be antmimics. This female is similar to A. ruficornis (CAMERON, 1889) in having an apically nodose first gastral segment, but differs in having normal mandibles ( A. ruficornis has abnormal mandible that are abruptly angulate at basal third of outer margin).
