Remarks.
Based on some of the illustrated syntypes of " Melanopsis antiqua Férussac, 1823" (actually, Grateloup referred to the illustrations of Melania buccinoidea in Férussac 1823; " Melanopsis antiqua Férussac” is not an available name). Junior homonym of Melanopsis fusiformis Sowerby, 1822.
