Distribution.

A very common Holarctic species. Known from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, the Greek mainland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sardinia, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Spanish mainland, Sweden, Ukraine, Georgia, Algeria, and USA ( Ježek 1990 c; Wagner 2013; Salmela et al. 2014; Ježek et al. 2017; Oboňa et al. 2019a).

Note.

First record for Azerbaijan. It is a vector of larval stages of Rhabditis nematodes and Gamasidae mites ( Ježek and Omelková 2012).
