Types.
Endrődi (1966) commented that he doubted the D. picipes specimens in the Burmeister Collection at MLUH were the types. Chalumeau (1982) later designated a Chalepus picipes Burmeister lectotype ♂ at MLUH. Endrődi (1966) did not examine the types of C. geminatus. Type of C. obsoletus at MCZ ( Endrődi 1966). Type of D. picipes Bates at BMNH ( Endrődi 1966). The types of the Casey synonyms are at USNM ( Endrődi 1966).
