Notes
added by Schwarz (2005); see note under incubitor. Irish occurrence confirmed by a specimen (coll. A. Anderson) identified by M. Schwarz. The species referred to as ornatus in older literature is now known to be bipunctatus ( Schwarz and Shaw 1998).
