REMARKS. J. Sievers recorded the species as “ Epischnia rutilella ” (1856). Only old reports from the region are known (Lahta, Poklonnaya Gora, Garbolovo ( Kawrigin 1894)).

DISTRIBUTION. Europe except for Mediterranean Islands, Caucasus, Siberia, Russian Far East, India, Korea, Japan ( Sinev 1986; Karsholt & Razowski 1996; Leraut 2014; Sinev et al. 2019).
