MATERIAL EXAMINED. 1 Ƌ, Udelnaya , 3.vii.1892 (E. Miram) ; 1 Ƌ, Ozerki , 16.vii.1917 ; 1 Ƌ, Kellomyaki , 16.vi.1956 (Kozhanchikov) ; 1 Ƌ, 1 ♀, Beloostrov , 4–11.viii.1980 ( V. Prasolov) ; 1 ♀, Podgor’e , 7.vii.2012 ; 1 ♀, Olshanik , 8.vii.2015 .

REMARKS. The species occurs on dry wood clearings, heathlands and bogs. Not rare.

DISTRIBUTION. The Palaearctic except for southernmost areas, Greenland, North America ( Sinev 1986; Karsholt & Razowski 1996; Leraut 2014; Aarvik et al. 2017; Koçak & Kemal 2018; Sinev et al. 2019; Slamka, 2019).
