Diagnosis. Readily distinguished from congeners by the following combination of characters: body shape ellipsoidal, pronotum more than twice as wide as long, pro- and metafemur without robust spines and all legs yellow. Sclerotized rings thick-rimmed, with distinct lateral infoldings; gonapophysis 9 ramus toughened, without an inner, triangular process anterodorsally.
Description. Female. Body ellipsoidal, dorsoventrally flattened, length 3.2 mm ( Figs 1 View FIGURE 1 , 2A, C View FIGURE 2 ). Coloration. Body generally fuscous ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ). Eyes silver-reddish. Apical part of fourth antennomere brownish. Labrum brown; labium yellowish-brown, fourth segment darker in distal part. Hemelytral membrane smoky brown. Legs yellow except coxa black ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ). Abdomen black. Surface and Vestiture. Body shining, impunctate, slightly rugose, with uniformly distributed, dense, short, pale pubescence ( Figs 1A View FIGURE 1 , 2A, B View FIGURE 2 ); head with delicate erect pubescence, vertex and buccula with long, reclining setae ( Fig. 2A–D View FIGURE 2 ); antennae with adherent and erect setae; thoracic pleura partially glabrous ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ); coxae with dense patches of hairlike microtrichia; profemur with long yellow setae; tibia with yellow setae and rows of short dark spines; abdominal segment IX with long, brown setae ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ). Structure. Head: short and oblique, somewhat porrect, eyes removed from anterior margin of pronotum, lacking sensory setae, and with ommatidia flat ( Fig. 2B View FIGURE 2 ); vertex weakly carinate posteriorly; neck-like occipital region present; buccula narrow, parallel-sided ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ). Antenna: inserted at ventral margin of eye, antennomere I short, weakly thickened, subconical, II thick, fusiform, antennomeres III and IV thinner than II, fusiform, combined length, shorter than II. Labium: thick and very short, not exceeding middle of procoxa; segment I very short, almost completely retractable under clypeus, subequal in length to buccula ( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 , 2B, C View FIGURE 2 ). Thorax: pronotum trapeziform, short, lateral margins without carina, posterior margin deeply concave; calli barely visible; propleuron covering almost entire procoxa ( Figs 1B View FIGURE 1 , 2C View FIGURE 2 ); mesoscutum largely exposed; scutellum flat. Metathoracic spiracle visible. Metathoracic scent efferent system: evaporatory area triangular; ostiolar peritreme large, tongue-like. Mesosternum greatly enlarged, shieldlike. Metasternum narrow, subrectangulate. Hemelytron generally flat; lateral margin rounded; cuneus distinct, weakly reflexed at costal fracture; single membrane cell ( Figs 1A View FIGURE 1 , 2A View FIGURE 2 ). Legs: short; procoxae cylindrical, contiguous medially; pterothoracic coxae in close proximity; femora robust, femoral trichobothria very short, without trichome; spiculae present ( Fig. 1E View FIGURE 1 ); tibia short, slightly longer than femora; tarsi expanded distally; hindtarsal tarsomeres I and II subequal in length, together equal to tarsomere III ( Fig. 2F View FIGURE 2 ); claws broad, angulate, strongly toothed at base; parempodia broad, lamellate, strongly convergent distally; pulvillus triangulate, well-developed ( Fig. 2G, H View FIGURE 2 ). Abdomen: as wide as hemelytron. Genitalia: as in Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ; bursa copulatrix membranous with weakly distinct elements; seminal depository large; sclerotized rings thick-rimmed, with distinct lateral infoldings; gonapophysis 9 ramus toughened, without an inner, triangular process anterodorsally; gonapophyses 8 and 9 serrate, gonapophyses 8 with apex sharpened, gonapophyses 9 with apex blunt.
Measurements (in mm) (n=3).
Body. Length, clypeus-apex of membrane: 3.20; width: 1.26.
Head. Length in dorsal view, excluding collar: 0.42; width, including compound eyes: 0.88; interocular space: 0.50; eye dorsal width: 0.20; length in dorsal view: 0.29.
Antenna. Length of antennomeres: I: 0.21; II: 0.40; III: 0.25; IV: 0.26.
Labium. Total length: 0.68; length of segment I: 0.16; II: 0.19; III: 0.15; IV: 0.21.
Pronotum. Mesal length: 0.49; posterior maximal width (straight): 1.11.
Mesoscutum. Mesal length: 0.21.
Scutellum. Anterior width: 0.62; mesal length: 0.52.
Hind leg. Femur length: 0.75; femur width 0.27; tibia length: 0.86; tarsus length: 0.24; length of tarsal segment I: 0.07; II: 0,06; III: 0.14.
Hemelytron. Claval commissure: 0.44; heme length: 2.22; corium length: 1.31; outer cuneal margin length (straight): 0.41; cuneus width: 0.54.
Etymology. This species is named for its yellow legs.

Biology. Unknown. All the specimens were collected at night attracted to a light trap (bulb “MIX”- type 250 W,
E40) in the ecotone zone of the rainforest (see Malipatil et al. 2022, Fig. 8).
