Throughout tropical parts of the Afrotropical, Australian, Oriental regions and Costa Rica ( Kirkendall & Jordal 2006); recorded in Southeast Asia from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China (Guangxi, Hainan *, Hong Kong, Shanxi, Yunnan), India (Andaman Is, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Nicobar Is, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal), Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam.
