Pseudosymplanella Che, Zhang et Webb, 2009: 50 . Type species: Pseudosymplanella nigrifasciata Che, Zhang et Webb, 2009 , by original designation.

Diagnosis. Generally dark brown to black. Style narrow, hook-shaped apically. Hind margin of female sternite VII notched medially, endogonocoxal lobes not fused.

Composition and distribution. Monotypical taxon known from southern China and northern Thailand.
