Snoring Puddle Frog
Comment: This species was heard, but not recorded, calling in BNP (site 31) on 24 January 2009; no material was collected (A. Channing, pers. comm.). It is widespread in Angola ( Ruas 1996, 2002; Marques et al. 2018) and includes several cryptic taxa ( Zimkus et al. 2010) that are presently being investigated. Additional specimens collected from BNP will be crucial for species confirmation.
