Geophis bellus Myers 2003: 30 .

Holotype. University of Kansas Natural History Museum & Biodiversity Research Center (KU) 110703, adult male, collected 13 December 1964 by C. W. Myers.

Typelocality. Near community of Altos de Pacora, a few km northeast of Cerro Jefe (9º15’N, 79º22’W), 700 m elevation, Prov. Panamá, Panama.

Distribution. Known only from the type locality.

Species group. sieboldi ( Myers 2003) .
