Holotype. Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle, Paris ( MNHN) 1984, a juvenile female. Typelocality. “Tehuantepec ( Mexique occidental).”
Distribution. Unknown, only known from a single specimen from the imprecise type locality. Species group. omiltemanus ( Downs 1967) .
Systematic references. Bocourt (1883), Boulenger (1894), Dunn (1928), and Downs (1967). Remarks. Downs (1967: 122) remarked “the generic allocation of this species remains tentative; it does,
however, bear at least superficial resemblances to the members of the omiltemanus group.”
