Geophis incomptus Duellman 1959: 3 .

Holotype. University of Michigan Museum of Zoology ( UMMZ) 118840, adult male collected 18 July 1958 by W.E. Duellman and J. Wellman.

Typelocality. Dos Aguas, 2100 m elevation, Michoacán, México. Distribution. Known only from the type locality, Sierra de Coalcoman, Michoacan, Mexico. Species group. omiltemanus ( Downs 1967) .
