Distribution: NE South Africa and Mozambique to Ethiopia, S Sudan, and NE Dem. Rep. Congo; Nigeria.
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: fumigatus species group. See Taylor (2000 a) for distribution map. See Fahr et al. (2002) for information on Nigerian record. Sometimes spelled " hildebranti," but the original spelling is " hildebrantii.".
