Material examined. Holotype: Argentina, Santiago del Estero, Termas de Rio Hondo (27°29'56" S, 64°51'40" W), on Prosopis sp., 23/IX/1990, M.C.G. Willink col. 1(1) ( IFML) GoogleMaps . Paratypes: 2(6) with same data. La Rioja, Centro Universitario (29°25'45" S, 66°52'8" W), on Leucaena leucocephala , XII/2002, M.C.G. Willink col. 1(3 + 1firstinstar nymph + 1adult male + 1 prepupa) ( IFML) GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis. Slide-mounted adult female with dorsal surface with reticulations and with 10 groups of microtubular ducts of 2 types on head, thorax and abdomen. Margin with 2 or 3 setae on each abdominal segment. Ventral surface with microtubular ducts of type B; quinquelocular pores extending towards margin from anterior spiracles; frontal lobes present (González & Granara de Willink 2009).

Distribution. Argentina; Neotropical region, Chaco subregion, Chaco province; South American Transition Zone, Monte province.
