Type locality. Nantou county, Huisunlinchang (惠蓀林場), 24°05’28”N, 121°02’01E, 700 m.
Type material (n= 14). Holotype ♂ ( TARI): Nantou: Huisunlinchang (惠蓀林場), 23.IV.2015, leg. Y.- T. Chung . Paratypes: 1♀ (TARI), same as holotype; 1♂, 1♀ ( TARI), same locality, 22.IV.2015, leg. B.- X. Guo ; 2♂♂, 5♀♀ ( TARI), same locality, 26.IV.2014, leg. B.- X. Guo; Hsinchu : 1♀ ( TARI), Leedonshan (李棟山), 22.V.2005, leg. Y.- L. Lin ; 1♂ ( TARI), Mamei (馬美), 4.V.2008, leg. S.- F. Yu ; 1♀ ( TARI), Talulintao (大鹿林道), 22.VIII.2009, leg. Y.- L. Lin; Taoyuan : 1♂, 四陵 [sic!] (四稜, Suleng), 3–5.V.1981, leg. S. Fukuda (SEHU).
Description. Aedeagus concave and narrow, sides subparallel; apico-lateral angles obtusely angulate, wide in lateral view, bases of apico-lateral angles smooth; middle of apical margin with an extremely long, slender tubelike process, slender in lateral view, apex rounded; dorsal process subapically and slightly swollen in dorsal and lateral views, apex pointed in lateral view ( Figs 11 View FIGURES 11 A–11B). Ventrite V ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 11 C) not modified in female, apical margin broadly rounded. Gonocoxae reduced. Ventrite VIII ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 11 D) heart-shaped, with extremely short spiculum and dense, elongate setae along apical margins of triangulate processes. Tergite VIII ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 11 E) with apex broadly rounded and dense setae apically. Receptacle of spermatheca ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 11 F) weakly swollen, barely separated from pump, pump much narrower and longer, sharply curved; proximal spermathecal duct long and narrow.
Diagnosis. See diagnosis of Siemssenius jungchani sp. nov.
Host plant. Unknown.
Etymology. This new species is named after Mrs. Su-Fang Yu, a member of the TCRT and first to collect this new species.
Distribution. Widespread in central and north Taiwan (Nantou, Hsinchu, and Taoyuan counties) ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 ).
