Larval host plants: Aesculus glabra and A. pavia ( Monné & Nearns 2022d) and Carya ( Yanega 1996)
Comments: While the single Kentucky specimen did not have specific collecting information, there are several records along the Ohio side of the Ohio River from Cincinnati to Portsmouth .

Kentucky counties: Campbell (3), Fayette (1), Harlan (1), Jessamine (1), Madison (6), Rowan (1), nr (2) Years: 1983 (1), 2010 (3), 2011 (1), 2012 (2), 2016 (3), 2017 (1), 2018 (2), nr (2) Months: May (4), June (8), July (1), nr (2) Collections (12 records. 15 specimens): ABRC (4), CNHM (2), EGCCRC (5), UKIC (1), XEUC (3) Collection methods: Light (5); Malaise trap (4); sugar trap (1); panel trap baited with Ray lab blend (3) Larval host plants: Acer negundo , Celtis occidentalis , Cornus florida , Fagus grandifolia , Juglans spp. , Morus rubra and Tilia americana ( Monné & Nearns 2022d) Comments : Attracted to lights. Beating dead host branches can also yield specimens.
