Distribution: MA to northern FL to eastern TX to MO. Kentucky collections were from Fayette south to Whitley County (Map 036).

Larval host plants: Betula nigra , Carpinus caroliniana , Cercis canadensis , Cornus florida , Juglans nigra , Liriodendron tulipifera , Quercus spp. , Robinia pseudoacacia and Sapindus marginatus ( Monné & Nearns 2022d)
Comments: At 2-4 mm in length, this antlike species is one of the smallest species of Cerambycidae in North America . Beating, rearing or Malaise traps are probably the best ways to collect this species.
