Distribution: MA to MD to KS to MN. Kentucky specimens are from the eastern half of the state (Map 015).

Larval host plants: Acer negundo , Quercus spp. , Pinus strobus and Rhus glabra ( Monné & Nearns 2022d) and Castanea ( Bousquet et al. 2017)
Comments: While the literature says this species is attracted to lights ( Yanega 1996), Kentucky specimens were predominantly collected with Malaise traps and lures, although there does not appear to be a published lure for this species.
