Distribution: Southern ON to MD to GA to south TX to eastern KS. Most Kentucky specimens were collected just south of Cincinnati, OH ( Interior Plateau ; Map 014).

Larval host plants: Aesculus glabra , Albizia julibrissin , Diospyros virginiana , Morus alba , Pithecellobium spp. , Prosopis juliflora and Zanthoxylum spp. ( Monné & Nearns 2022d)
Chemical lures: Fuscumol and fuscumol + acetate are attractants ( Mitchell et al. 2011); a blend of (R)- and (S)-fuscumol + (R)-fuscumol acetate + geranylacetone ( Meier et al. 2016); ethanol ( Millar et al. 2017)
Comments: Attracted to lights.
