Distribution: Across Canada from NF to southern MB, and then extends down the Appalachians to northern GA.
The lone Kentucky specimen was taken in the extreme southeastern part of the state (Central Appalachians; Map 062). Adult flower hosts: Amelanchier , Chrysanthemum , Cornus, Ledum , Sambucus , Sorbus , Spiraea and Viburnum ( Bousquet et al. 2017)
Chemical lures: Turpentine ( Gardiner 1957)
Comments: Diurnal, visits flowers during the day.
