Distribution: NS to northern FL to AR to MN. Kentucky specimens are from the eastern third of the state (Western Allegheny Plateau and Southwestern Appalachians; Map 025).

Adult flower hosts: Daucus carota and Rhus glabra ( Lingafelter 2007)

Comments: Adults are diurnal and often found on flowers.
