Distribution: NB to AB in Canada and ME to northern GA to AR in the US. Kentucky specimens are from the northeastern quarter of the state ( Interior Plateau and Western Allegheny Plateau; Map 071).

Larval host plants: Acer , Carpinus , Carya , Cornus and Quercus ( Monné & Nearns 2022b)
Adult flower hosts: Aruncus , Cornus , Crataegus , Heracleum , Spiraea , and Viburnum ( Bousquet et al. 2017) and Hydrangea arborescens and Tragopogon ( Lingafelter 2007)
Comments: Diurnal, found on flowers.
