Distribution: NB to TN to IA and WI to southern ON. Kentucky collections of this uncommonly collected species are from just south of Cincinnati, OH ( Interior Plateau ; Map 132).

Larval host plants: Acer rubrum , Fagus spp. , Fraxinus americana , Tilia americana and Ulmus americana ( Monné & Nearns 2022d)
Chemical lures: Fuscumol acetate ( Hanks et al. 2018)
Comments: Fuscumol acetate was a component of the Ray lab lure blend that collected the 4 Kentucky specimens. Adults can be found on dead basswoods ( Tilia ), the primary host ( Bousquet et al. 2017).
